Program: Meet a few Geriatric Care Managers and Find Out How They Differ. Obtain information on how they refer and connect with other professionals. What are some of the issues they encounter with families and seniors and how do they work toward resolution? Learn some useful tips to help your families or clients.
Speakers: Vanessa Bishop, Elder Care Consultants and Megan Descutner, Golden Pond ElderCare Strategies.
(This is a 40-minute panel presentation with questions.) Take time to introduce yourself to our speakers after their presentation. Please note: other geriatric care managers are encouraged to attend and will be introduced.

This group was formed by local advocates seeking information about health issues facing older adults and/or their caregivers. Our Mission is to provide education within this range of topics to the Western Fairfax Community on a monthly basis, have great speakers and make a difference in the field of aging here in the area. This group will focus on education, advocacy and networking. We invite you to join us and share your background, hear terrific speakers. Subsequent meetings will be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month @ the same time and location but always a new speaker!
