April is home to National Healthcare Decisions Day, an initiative established to inspire and educate about the importance of advance health care planning. In support of this, Michael Knipmeyer from the Health Insurance Counseling Project (HICP) will be at Seabury at Friendship Terrace on Wednesday, April 24th at 2:00 PM to discuss the Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Program and other cost-saving programs available to Medicare beneficiaries in Washington, DC. He will also be discussing resources and support available through the Health Insurance Counseling Project (HICP). Admission is free and open to all.
