In celebration of the opening of Cohen-Rosen House, our new memory care assisted living, we
continue our spring “Remember This” seminar series with “Sexual Behaviors and the Dementia Patient”.
Approaching and dealing with senior sexuality can be a challenge for many professionals and
caregivers, particularly when the senior is a dementia patient. Join us for this informative
program which will cover the following topics: inappropriate behaviors, lack of inhibitions,
ability to give consent, using redirection and validation, privacy issues and family feelings
about sexuality and dementia.
Jennifer Lubaczewski FitzPatrick is founder of Jenerations Health Education, Inc., adjunct instructor at Johns Hopkins University and educational consultant for the Alzheimer’s Association. She will guide attendees on understanding and managing the difficult behaviors that often accompany memory loss.
This Program offers 1 Category 1 CEU for Social Workers in Maryland.
Buffet dinner and registration begin at 5:30. Program from 6-7pm.
