Increasingly we hear a diagnosis of DIABETES. Diabetes is manageable. Providence Hospital has partnered with the Joslin Diabetes Center and the hospital’s new Josline Diabetes Clinic to go “On the Road” with information about the disease. These are FREE programs open to persons with diabetes, those at risk for diabetes and for those interested in learning more. The Providence Hospital “On the Road” Diabetes Programs will be offered at Friendship Terrace Retirement Community on Monday, January 13th and 27th and on Monday, February 4th from 11:00 AM to NOON. You can attend any one or all three programs in the series. There will be FREE A1C diabetes testing, blood pressure testing, and information available at all sessions. FREE gifts will include drawstring bags, pedometers, exercise DVD’s, resistance bands, pill boxes and lunch bags. Light snacks will be provided.
