The Business Case for Culture Change
Scott Townsley, Adjunct Professor at UMBC, and Principal, Clifton Larson Allen, will discuss the business case for culture change. For more than 15 years person centered care and culture change have demonstrated that long term care residents can enjoy a higher quality of life as well as a higher quality of care. In many ways, that’s the ‘bottom line’. Yet the other ‘bottom line’ beckons in an era of reduced reimbursement, shifts to managed care and the fiscal impact of health care reform. Our session will focus on translating culture change into sustainable and tangible competitive advantage.
