Watch and discuss thought-provoking documentaries from the award-winning PBS series POV (Point of View). This month’s film, If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front, explores two of America’s most pressing issues—environmentalism and terrorism— and examines what turned Daniel McGowan, a working class-kid from Queens into an eco-warrior who currently faces life in prison for two multi-million-dollar arsons against Oregon timber companies. Free and open to the public. Presented in conjunction with Eastern Lancaster County Library.
