This intensive one-day program led by experts in the field will provide long-term care and healthcare professionals with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for providing effective care for persons with dementia. Topics will include an overview of dementia, stages of Alzheimer’s disease and strategies for care, managing challenging behaviors, and developing a successful dementia care program.
