Geriatric Social Workers require an understanding of estate, trust, and incapacity planning and the appropriate resources available to seniors. This program will address the importance of planning as well as the consequences of not planning for the future while providing an overview of each of these issues. The program will address the obstacles present in ensuring that seniors’ care needs are met, and assets distributed according to their wishes, and the resources available to enable seniors to overcome these challenges.
