This program will educate professionals on ethno-geriatrics and how to handle the unique health care issues of seniors in multiple ethnic groups. After this seminar, attendees will be able to:
• Generally discuss the ethnic diversity within the aging population as it relates to differences in disease prevalence
• Identify challenges for placement among minority elders with the goal of providing culturally competent care
