This summer the Huffington Post reported that a woman back in 1998 purchased a jug and another piece for $50. She just now discovered that the jug actually dates back to Pennsylvania in 1860 and…is now worth between $30,000 and $50,000! What are your collectibles, your jewelry, and the items that have been handed down to you actually worth? The NovaGold/Peenstra Antiques Roadshow, coming to Friendship Terrace Tuesday, October 22nd at 10:00 AM, will help you find out! Those attending can bring an item to be appraised at no charge by Jamie Grasso and Steve Gouterman of NovaGold, LLC and Todd Peenstra, President of Peenstra Antiques Appraisals. You do need to sign up for this program and note the item you are bringing for appraisal. Admission is free and open to all. For more information call Friendship Terrace at 202-244-7400.
