Retirement & Elder Care Issues
Aging and working with those who are in their later years can be complicated. Get prepared and understand where the various government and private funds for retirement come from, how they work and what to start planning for at each stage of life. Learn what kind of financial sources and benefits affect everyone in their retirement years. Topics include: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and financing long life expectancies. Various kinds of estate planning documents and how they can be used to ensure maximum quality of care will also be discussed. Additionally, you’ll explore the many housing and care giver options available in the community, what the differences are and what they cost. This course is beneficial for both individuals and professionals working with our aging population.
