Monday April 22nd at 7 p.m. Seabury at Friendship Terrace will host the Earth Day Presentation: “Think Globally, Act Locally” with Washington, DC Ward 3 Council Member Mary Cheh, Chair of the District’s Committee on Environment, Public Works and Transportation and Reid Detchon, Vice President for Energy and Climate at the United Nations Foundation and its top energy expert. Detchon is also a member of the Environment committee at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church. Detchon will address why climate change matters to all of us.
