To help older adults combat chronic loneliness and develop and maintain relationships, JSSA (Jewish Social Service Agency), a non-sectarian community agency, has created an innovative and interactive social skills program, “Connecting in Friendship”. Led by experienced clinicians, this program focuses on conversing, reaching out and allowing others in, conveying empathy, positive thinking, and expressing appreciation and resolving differences. “Connecting in Friendship” will be held on May 23, 30, June 6 and 13 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. at JSSA’s Montrose office located at 6123 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD.
