The number of Americans 55 and older who are living with HIV is on the rise, yet preventative education and testing is not always on the radar of healthcare professionals. On Tuesday, September 29th, Lifematters and Seabury at Friendship Terrace will offer a FREE C.E.U. Seminar, “Aging with HIV”. Registration begins at 8:30 am. The program will run from 9:00 am and continues until noon. Join featured speaker Stephanie Chong, Director of Communty Outreach and Education at Lifematters, as she addresses the risk factors of aging with HIV, treatments and issues that are unique to this population. Resources will be shared. This FREE class is approved by the National Association of Social Workers for 3.0 CEU’s. A complimentary continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
