Speakers: Dr. Imani Woody, Jane Lincoln, LICSW and a panel of experts

 

This workshop will explore aging in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.  Participants will consider attitudes regarding LGBT elders and how such attitudes impact the LGBT community and their ability to age with dignity.  Participants will engage in a review of their own attitudes and become more aware of attitudes that exist.  Resources that have made efforts to create an LGBT friendly community will be discussed.
