Rosalyn McFarland, the Caring from a Distance’s first "public" Long Distance Caregiver Awardee, worked tirelessly to overcome numerous emergencies to bring her 95 year old grandmother who had been living alone in an apartment in NY to Georgia, to be closer to family. She and her husband Kevin Hubbard had agreed this was the right decision. Rosalyn had the will, but needed some help along the way to make this happen. She found the Caring from a Distance website and through suggested resources, found the guidance she needed.
